Intended Purpose

Enora® utilises Repose® technology, a range of air-filled, reactive air, pressure redistribution, and reduction support surfaces with high levels of immersion and envelopment available for use in non-healthcare settings.

Immersion is the depth to which the body penetrates a support surface, and envelopment is the ability of a support surface to conform to the body’s shape. Movement alters where this immersion and envelopment occurs. Repose’s multi-way stretch and elasticity allow interface pressures to equalise across its surface.

The combination of unique materials and Smart Valve Technology have been clinically and scientifically proven to significantly reduce the occurrence of bed sores as well as shorten their healing time through its ability to reduce peak and average interface pressures (5.2%1, 4.8%2, 5.1%3, 5.2%4 ).
